For as long as I can remember, art has been my safe space. Whether I was feeling lonely, stressed, or even battling a migraine, I’d grab a pen, sketch, or paint, and suddenly, the world felt a little lighter. Now, at 43, I’m stepping into something even bigger—combining my love for art, mindfulness, and healing into my new role as a Mindful Art Life Coach. This is my journey, and if you’re looking for a creative way to find peace, I’d love for you to come along.
Art Has Been My Lifelong Friend
Ever since I was a kid, art was my go-to. When I felt overwhelmed, misunderstood, or just needed a break from life, I’d create. Drawing, painting, and zentangles helped me tune out the noise and reconnect with myself. Even now, all these years later, art still gives me that same sense of calm and balance.
Two Decades of Teaching and Learning
I’ve been teaching for over 20 years, helping students tap into their potential. With a background in psychology and a love for the humanities, I’ve seen firsthand how creativity helps people express what words sometimes can’t. My experience in education has deepened my understanding of emotions, behaviors, and the healing power of self-expression.
The Magic of Mindfulness and Spirituality
Art isn’t just about creating something pretty—it’s a way to be present, to tap into something bigger than ourselves. I’m all about mindfulness, spirituality, and that feeling of being "in the flow." Whether it’s journaling, meditating, or using tools like tarot and astrology, I’ve spent years learning how to connect with my inner self and help others do the same.
Listening, Leading, and Healing
People naturally come to me for advice and guidance. Maybe it’s my background in psychology, or maybe it’s just who I am, but I’ve always been a listener, a guide, and a healer. Now, I’m channeling that energy into my work as a Mindful Art Life Coach, creating a space where people can explore their emotions, find clarity, and heal through creativity.
Zentangles, Painting, and Creative Therapy
Doodling, zentangles, and painting aren’t just hobbies—they’re meditative practices. These creative outlets help quiet the mind, ease stress, and bring a sense of peace. As a coach, I want to introduce others to these tools, showing them how to use art as therapy, a way to let go and reconnect with themselves.

Helping Others Find Their Own Path
Helping others find their path has always come naturally to me. For a long time, I offered wisdom and encouragement, yet I struggled with rebranding myself due to self-doubt. I often felt small, unsure if I could fully step into this role. But through my own healing journey and self-discovery, I’ve realized that this is not just something I can do—it’s something I’m meant to do.
To deepen my practice, I’m currently completing certifications in life coaching and art therapy. These studies are helping me refine my approach so I can better support those seeking healing through creative expression.
I’m ready to guide others on their own journey of healing. Whether it’s anxiety, self-doubt, or just feeling lost, I want to help people find a creative outlet that truly works for them. Through mindful art practices, I’ll help unlock inner wisdom, encourage self-care, and cultivate a sense of alignment with the universe.
